Kiln Formed Glass II

September 11th - November 8th



Please join us for our second exhibition of innovative kiln-formed glass by five artists: Janet Kelman, Richard Parrish,
Steve Immerman, Robin Kittleson, and Alice Benvie Gebhart.  Also known as fused glass, kiln-formed glass is

created from sheet glass that is cut and fit together, then fired in a kiln to about 1500 degrees until it fuses.  

The show will include freestanding and wall hung panels, as well as bowls and trays, in styles ranging from

The show will feature 15 to 20 of Boisali Biswas’ contemporary fiber wall hangings inspired by the
art and culture of India . Blending modern and traditional techniques and materials, the artist
creates vibrantly colored weavings combining dyed linen with strips of hand-painted, textured
wallpaper. The exhibition will feature both abstract designs and architectural subject matter
inspired by the artist’s recent travels in India .
